In Year 2 we follow the 'Talk for Writing' scheme closely. For our unit on the text The Proudest Blue, the children began their writing journey by sharing and talking about their own special objects. Once introduced to the story, the children enjoyed retelling The Proudest Blue using actions and expressions. Here is a video of two of our Year 2 children doing this beautifully.
