Mr Mason
Hello, my name is Mr Mason.
I work in year 3 and have been at the school since the summer of 2020.
Sports have always made up a huge part of my life. Whether it is cricket, rugby or football, I love teaching it! I also have a musical background, completing my grades for both Saxophone and Drums. Music gives the chance for children to express themselves and it can be a hobby that they carry right through their lives.
Last year I was given the role of 'History Lead', which is another passion of mine as I studied Ancient History at the University of Leicester.
I would describe myself as firm but fair. I strive to make learning fun and exciting so that the children are engaged. In class, I like to use positive rewards as a way to motivate my class. Above all, I want the children in my class to believe that they can achieve anything with hard work. They will leave at the end of the year motivated, determined and with a 'never give up' attitude
