Mr Mason
Hello, my name is Mr Mason.
I work in year 6 and have been at the school since the summer of 2020. I previously had worked in another city school, where I was in year 5 for 5 years.
Sports have always made up a huge part of my life. Whether it is cricket, rugby or football, I love teaching it! I also have a musical background, completing my grades for both Saxophone and Drums. Music gives the chance for children to express themselves and it can be a hobby that they carry right through their lives.
Last year I was given the role of 'History Lead', which is another passion of mine as I studied Ancient History at the University of Leicester.
I would describe myself as firm but fair. We work hard in year 6, but we do have lots of fun too! Grit and determination is what we encourage. By the end of year 6, we want you to be proud of how hard have worked.
