Mastering Number
In Mathematics we engage with mastering number. We use the Rekenrek to help us to develop our understanding of number and symbols. We aim to use the correct mathematical language whilst incorporating our knowledge into problem solving and reasoning activities.
Science
This term we have been learning about Plants. We found about where plants come from then looked carefully at some seeds.
Then we drew and described them.

ICT
In ICT this term we have been learning how to create Digital Art.
Our aims are to:
Use technology purposefully to create digital content.
Progression of skills
1. Change the colour of individual pixels to accurately re-create a basic artwork.

History
Our History topic this half term has been 'The Great Fire of London'
We found out about life in 1666 compared to our life in the present day. We thought about the jobs we would and wouldn't like to have done if we had lived over 300 years ago.
We had great fun making houses and painting flames for our display.
Samuel Pepys came to visit and inspired us to write some interesting facts about him.
We finished our topic off with a 'great Fire of London' experience day. It was fantastic!
Design & Technology
We have loved designing, making and evaluating our hand puppets. Don't they look good?
