Mr Chivers
Hello, My name is Mr Chivers and I am the Year 3 and 4 Phase Leader, currently teaching in Year 3.
I am also the KS2 Mathematics Subject Lead, where I get to understand all things maths! As maths is an important part of our everyday lives, I aim to build independent learners, who have the confidence and curiosity to deepen their knowledge and skills along with a positive attitude and approach to maths!
I have previously been the PE and Sport Coordinator for the school, which allowed me to utilise my passion of physical activity and sports development. I enjoy active lessons and enabling the children to think about their learning in different ways.
My main hobby is Rugby, where I am fortunate enough to travel around the country playing different teams within the RFU League structure. Rugby is about being; a team player, being courageous and showing resilience. These qualities are just as important in the classroom.
