St John’s has an established school uniform which has been agreed after consultation with pupils, staff, governors and parents.
We encourage all children to take pride in their appearance and to be proud of their school and its identity and therefore it important that all children adhere to this agreed school policy.
As parents and carers you play an important part in this and we ask that you support the school in ensuring that the correct school uniform is worn for all areas of the curriculum. Where this is not the case the school will engage with parents and carers to address this issue.
Please name all your child's clothing. This assists both your child and the teachers when items are mislaid. Each term we dispose of numerous bags of school uniform that is never claimed. This would be so easily prevented if all clothing and shoes were named.
